Do you ever wonder what you're after in life? What you'll be in the future or what's in store for you?
Well, however you choose to define success, whatever it is that you hope to accomplish, keep in mind that success doesn't happen over night. Success happens every day, when you take small steps, grow and improve daily basis.Start now with whatever it is that you hope to be and accomplish.
1. Morning Rituals
Having a healthy morning ritual is really important because it improves a lot with stress and how your day has started. So getting up in the morning and just having your morning breakfast in a peaceful way can be very helpful for an overall good day. I know when I wake up I always love getting my laptop and writing down some of the things I want to do in the day or sometimes even things that inspire me and that I would love to do. Things like that relax me and motivate me to get up and do new exciting things that motivate me to succeed. I'm not going to lie, mornings weren't always my favorite thing but because I was always so grumpy and I knew what I had to do that day and it didn't even motivate me, but writing down some of the things I would like to do, they would motivate me that I can still do those things I just have to have a positive attitude in the morning. So create a morning ritual for yourself that will help you feel positive and inspired, every day.
2. Establish A Routine
I live with having a routine, I'm always planning things ahead and I love writing in my calendar reminders of the things I have to do or that I will be doing throughout the day. I like having a balance in my life and it really helps me to be stress free. Not every person is the same but its also important in creating yourself a routine because it will help a lot. I don't have a lot of time to spare so its always important to keep a routine because you're setting yourself up for success, you work on your goals during the same time each day as you get used to your routine, you will accomplish your goals faster.
3. Minimize Distractions
Knowing myself, I get distracted VERY easily and its something I have been working on. For those of us who regularly use electronics, it provides us from control over our memory, pay attention or switch from one job to another as well as those who work on one task at a time. So you think you might be getting more things done by multitasking, when in reality you're not as efficient as when you're focusing on only one thing.
4. Setting Daily Goals
Setting yourself some daily goals doesn't have to be anything to the extreme, start small. Your goals can involve anything you're good at or even interested in. But also setting big ambitious goals are great, but also focusing on your accomplishments on daily routines will keep you from feeling overwhelmed or disappointed when experiencing a setback. Break down your "big" goals into smaller ones and take baby steps. Ask yourself "What can I do today, that will bring me closer to my goals?"
5. Waking Up Early
If you want to develop a productive routine for your day, you need to make the best of your mornings. Getting up early and starting your day means that you are seeing up your intentions for the day to come, you won't be in a rush and you won't feel stressed, knowing that you are on time. You will have more time to plan out your day, organize yourself and check you to-do list. I know it has worked really great for me, it really does make a change into something you want to accomplish and be better at. Especially now since I'm not working, I'm getting really motivated to work for myself and at the same time do something that will benefit me and make me happy at the same time.
6. Get Yourself A Journal
I have always had a journal in my life, its mostly one of the reasons why I started blogging, because I love expressing myself and sharing moments in my life. Getting a journal means you can keep track of your progress, document your success, write down your goals, quotes that inspire you, things that you're grateful for. When you're after something you want, it isn't always going to come overnight, especially with success, its such hard and consistent work. There will be days when you feel discouraged and this is why keeping a journal is important. Have a good and positive attitude because someone with a negative attitude will never truly be happy, like I've said in my previous posts, live for now and not the future, yes plan out your bright and successful future but think of the things that you can do NOW that will benefit you later on in life.
*Don't concern yourself with what everyone else is doing, surround yourself with positive people and keep going, no matter what.
