Arbonne Product Review

Jennie Bregande, a photographer who takes beautiful photographs and currently based out of Syracuse, NY; contacted me a few weeks ago regarding a beauty/wellness line called Arbonne. She has decided to be a consultant for the company and is currently looking to spread the word about the products she truly loves and believes in. Arbonne is a botanically based, vegan, gluten-free line that sells skincare and nutrition. The products are free of parabens, mineral oils, animal by-products, taluene, and artificial flavors and aromas. Based on my current healthy lifestyle and all-natural approach to life, she thought I would be a great fit to test out these products. I couldn’t have been more enthusiastic to get my package in the mail! Not only was I currently in search for something new, but my moisturizer was at its wits end. My skin is normal to oil, but typically not prone to breakouts unless around the time of the month. Recently, I have been experiencing more white heads than normal (genetics, thank you father) and more random breakouts. I felt change was needed. Arbonne has a 5 step process to your morning and nightly routine: Facial Cleaner, Toner, Renewal Serum, Day or Night Creme, and Corrective Eye Creme. Some people may feel overwhelmed with additional steps included in their rituals; but I love it. I have personally always used a toner, eye cream and at times serum in my everyday life for as long as I can remember. The Arbonne products give off a wonderful citrus smell that is absolutely amazing which makes the process that much more enjoyable. It makes you feel like you just got home from a spa treatment. Just add cucumber and mint water for your at home spa experience. So let’s review the products, shall we.

I had never heard of this line before Jennie contacted me. I am not being paid by Jennie or Arbonne to review these products and this review is based on my own opinion.

Smoothing Facial Cleanser

$40

Provides effective smoothing and renewing of the skin surface for soft, supple skin.

Review: I really liked this cleanser. It had a great smell, went on very smooth and made my face feel very fresh and clean.

Regenerating Toner $35

An antioxidant-rich, pH-balanced mist with Vitamins A, C and E regenerates skin tone and firmness to deliver younger-looking skin.

Review: This toner I really enjoyed. It gave my skin a deeper cleanse while removing any additional makeup that the cleanser forgot to take off. I was previously using a toner in between my typical alba toner from Walgreens that smelled like alcohol (gross! and that went in the trash). A good toner is necessary!

Advanced Intensive Renewal Serum

$58

A powerful blend of clinically proven, collagen-supporting ingredients that visibly firms and lifts skin, while helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines.

Review: Facelift in a tube. This serum smells amazing, and leaves your face feeling firm and youthful.

Advanced Restorative Day Creme + Extra Moisture Advanced Day Creme

$50

High concentrations of advanced moisture-enhancing ingredients support collagen, and protect and restore skin’s youthful appearance.

Review: This product was light and went on very smooth. You felt fresh and ready for the day. I didn’t find too much of a difference from the extra moisture to the regular advanced day creme.

Corrective Eye Creme

$55

Exclusive blend supports collagen, helps reduce the appearance of puffiness and helps diminish the look of dark circles.

Review: This was probably my favorite product out of the bunch. I am in love with this. After only a day, you could feel the change under your eye feeling more firm and smoothing out any wrinkles you may have. Definitely a favorite. Under my eyes has never felt smoother.

Night Repair Creme

$85

Ultra-hydrating blend of botanicals and concentrated vitamin C supports collagen and helps to restore a youthful appearance.

Review: I really liked this night cream. It was heavy and smooth, exactly what you are looking for to get that extra feeling of repair while you are sleeping. Although people have said that night creams are unnecessary, I did enjoy this.

Conclusion: I am definitely going to plan to purchase the eye cream, the serum and possibly try out the face mask (did not review). I had heard such fantastic things about the mask from other online reviews. All in all, I’d give this product line two thumbs up, making my face feeling fresh, clean, smooth and youthful. It is slightly too pricey for me to purchase all of the products at this time, although I was one click away from doing so. I opted for purchasing an all-natural line from the Vitamin Shoppe that has been working great for me so far. I will revisit this line in a few months to determine any changes needed in my skincare needs.
