Classic Margaritas

What makes the perfect margarita?

It's all about the perfect ratio. I use 2 parts tequila: 1 part triple sec: 1.75 parts lime juice.

Should I add a salt rim?

Yes. It's 100% necessary in my opinion. Feel free to add some chili powder to your salt mixture for a little added kick!

INGREDIENTS

2 lime wedges, for rimming glasses and garnish

1/4 c. kosher salt or coarse sea salt, for rimming glassis

4 oz. tequila

2 oz. triple sec

1 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice

Ice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place salt on small shallow plate. Rim two glasses with lime wedge, then dip in salt to coat rim.

  2. Divide tequila, triple sec, and lime juice between 2 glasses and stir to combine. Top with ice, garnish with lime, and serve.

Hope you enjoy this recipes as much as I do making them.
